Meet Gabrielle

As you can tell, I'm a photographer that loves capturing Colorado and all its beauty. I also love capturing you and the ones you love- authentic and joyful, celebrating the most special day of your life. I enjoy observing the world around me and capturing those fleeting, emotional moments, and preserving them for you to look back on for years to come.

I am so incredibly grateful to be so passionate about what I do. I love that my job means that I get to spend time with awesome people in beautiful places, surrounded by love and happiness. How cool is that?!

My journey as a photographer began when I was nine when I proudly declared I would become an architect. (Jokes on Baby Gabrielle because I am clearly not an architect- though I did get my bachelor’s degree in architecture). I became obsessed with buildings, art, and design. A few years later I was gifted my first DSLR, which I used to take a gazillion (technical term) pictures of beautiful, thoughtfully designed buildings. I expanded to photographing people, which led me to start photographing weddings, where I fell in love! So much goes on during a wedding day, and so many emotions are felt- I truly enjoy capturing it all.

My lifelong passions for architecture, art, design, and people have given me a keen eye for composition and a different perspective of the world around me, which is present every time I pick up my camera.

She’s Great!

Facts on Facts on Facts

Getting to know your photographer is really important- we spend your wedding day together as I capture the story of your day unfold! I consider myself your Professional Third Wheel, so here are some tidbits so you can get to know me a bit better!

Here’s an obligatory childhood photo of me holding a camera. I have since upgraded from Fisher Price to Nikon.

I have a few octogenarian hobbies & interests, including knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, beekeeping, baking, and reading novels. More often than not, I’m hanging on my couch with my two cats (Emma and Charlie), watching some period drama while knitting because I am an 80-year-old woman at heart.

I wouldn’t be a Colorado photographer unless I posted a photo of me doing Colorado things. I also love cycling, especially when gravity is involved.

My favorite band is the Oh Hellos. If you haven’t heard of them, do yourself a favor and check them out. I love live music, and some of my other favorites are Sammy Rae & the Friends, Noah Kahan, Hozier, Brandi Carlile, Taylor Swift, Birdtalker, Caamp, Wild Child, Penny & Sparrow, Sleeping at Last, the Ballroom Thieves, Lawrence, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, and Ripe. Speaking of music, I also enjoy being mediocre at swing dancing.

As a cat lady with a self-deprecating sense of humor and sick photography skillz, the natural next step for me was to start making Christmas cards with my cats. I just like the idea that me and my cats’ faces are up on my friends’ fridges next to save-the-dates and birth announcements, causing momentary confusion to the unsuspecting viewer.

I have been skiing since I was five years old and raced downhill competitively for 10 years. In the winter I photograph skiing and snowboarding weddings, elopements, proposals, and engagement sessions. You can check out my ski photography on my other website, Ski the Day.
