 COLORADO Elopements

2023 PRICING GUIDE

colorfully capturing your story in the beauty of colorado

Congratulations on deciding to elope! Elopements are a wonderful way to celebrate the love you and your partner share, on your own terms. You can choose what traditions to keep, what to swap out, and make your day completely your own. I am here to help guide you through the process, and ensure that you have wedding photos you love.

Below you’ll find some information on pricing options, as well as what to expect before, during, and after your elopement when working with me.

Gabrielle was amazing. She catered to every special request I had for our elopement. All we had to show our family our special day were her photos and she DELIVERED!! My family still talks about how perfect our photos were. She makes you feel like a real natural! I was so nervous I would look awkward since it was just me and new husband but I could not ask for better.”

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

GABRIELLE STOWE

I am so incredibly grateful to be so passionate about what I do. I love that my job means that I get to spend time with awesome people in beautiful places, surrounded by love and happiness. How cool is that?!

My journey as a photographer began when I was nine when I proudly declared I would become an architect. (Jokes on Baby Gabrielle because I am clearly not an architect- though I did get my bachelor’s degree in architecture). I became obsessed with buildings, art and design. A few years later I was gifted my first DSLR, which I used to take a gazillion (technical term) pictures of beautiful, thoughtfully designed buildings. My lifelong passions for architecture, art, design, and people have given me a keen eye for composition and a different perspective of the world around me, which is present every time I pick up my camera.

THE EXPERIENCE

My Photography Style

Groom twirls bride during their elopement in Pagosa Springs Colorado by Coloado elopement photography Gabrielle Stowe Photography

EDITING STYLE

As you may have seen on my website or my Instagram, I have a colorful, true-to-life style. I edit my photos to be timeless and classic, so when you look back on them in the years to come they reflect your day. I avoid trendy editing styles, like the “dark and moody” photography style you see on Instagram or Pinterest. If you have blue skies and green grass on your wedding day, that is what you’ll see in your photos. Colorado is called “Colorful Colorado” for a reason, so I aim to accentuate that.

WORKING STYLE

The day of your elopement I play many roles. As your getting ready, and exchanging vows, I’m a documentary photographer. I capture the authentic moments that are happening in front of me. When photographing a dress, jewelry, and other wedding details, I become a product photographer creatively documenting your treasured items. If you are including family, I will direct and organize everyone to make sure you’re all there and looking good. For your newlywed portraits, I will scout some awesome locations and guide you into some poses. I’ll give you some prompts, but most importantly I will capture the sweet moments the two of you are sharing.

Planning Your Day

I GO TO A LOT OF WEDDINGS…

…so I’m here to be your resource to help you plan your elopement. There are so many different ways to structure your day, and options for things to do when you elope! The fun part about eloping is you can choose what traditions you keep and what you swap out. And you can include the activities you love- like the couple above who drove their Jeep up a dirt mountain pass to a waterfall! At any point during your planning, you can email me, call me, or we can meet up and I can give you some insights.

VENDOR RECOMMENDATIONS

Need a florist? Videographer? Make-up artist? Musician? Picnic setter upper? I know plenty of lovely vendors that I can recommend! If you already picked your vendors, that is great. If there is a vendor I need to coordinate with (like a videographer) I’ll reach out prior to your elopement to get to know them a bit better so we work together as a team.

GATHERING THE DETAILS

Two weeks prior to your elopement date, I will email you a questionnaire to get all the details of your day. This way I can get all the finalized information on the schedule and any must-have shots.

Of course! You will have personal printing rights to print the photos as many times as you wish.

Printing photos has become lost in this digital age, so I highly recommend physical copies of your memories.

 ELopement Collections

An elopement is just as meaningful as a big traditional wedding, if not more so, because you two are deciding to commit yourselves to each other on your terms without the outside pressure of doing what is conventional.

Without 100 guests around you all day snapping pictures with their iPhones, your professional photos of your wedding day are all you will have to look back on to relive the day for years to come. You deserve to have such an important day captured, from start to finish. Just because your wedding is smaller in size doesn’t mean it is any less deserving of documentation.

Below you’ll find different elopement collection options - we can discuss which collection is right for your day!

Add an Engagement Session

Gabrielle did an incredible job with our engagement photos! We had never taken professional photos before so we were a bit nervous, but Gabrielle instantly made us feel comfortable and we had a blast taking the photos. We have such a variety of poses, candids, and backgrounds, and she was just as excited as we were to be out in the mountains for our photos. Our pictures came out perfect and we are so excited to see what she captures on our wedding day!
— Jen + Nathan

If you would like to add an engagement session to your wedding collection, you’ll receive $200 off any session offering of your choice. Engagement sessions are great because you and your partner can spend some time together before the wedding and capture this special time in your lives. It also gets you more comfortable in front of the camera!

Most couples' photos are selfies or photos strangers took for them on vacation- it is so important to capture how you make each other laugh and how much you love each other.
